Lock QuickFill rules and set default preferences+ The 5.16 release continues to improve the product in three key areas: QuickFill rules, reports, and bill pay.
NEW There is new Reminder control in the register so you can adjust what scheduled transactions you see in a particular account. NEW You can also mark an account as Closed which will disconnect the account, zero out the balance and automatically move it to hidden accounts. More importantly, this makes it easier to search across all your accounts even the ones that are hidden or have been closed using All Transactions. NEW Hidden accounts will now appear in their own group on the sidebar so they are easily accessible, but they are excluded from your active accounts. Use this setting to track parent, child or organization accounts that you don't want included with your personal accounts. Accounts added to this group will not be included in your net worth. NEW In addition, we've added finer control over the display of accounts on the sidebar by adding a new Separate account option. NEW 5.17 adds one of our top requested features which is the ability to select the accounts used for a budget. Greater control over accounts including in budgets+ Alert preferences now allow you to quickly change the phone number for text messages. NEW We've added a number of Bill Pay alerts including a new text message alert. NEW Scheduled transactions will now sync to the Quicken Cloud allowing you to see them on mobile and web. NEW You can now assign a payment type to a scheduled transaction so, for example, if you always want to pay a particular bill using Quick Pay you can set this up. You are no longer required to send a payment immediately. NEW 5.17 adds the ability to schedule a future dated Quick Pay or Check Pay payment. Improved Quick/Check Pay and scheduled transactions+ NEW We've added 4 new Net Worth reports and a new Cash Flow Comparison report. Finally, we've added a new Transaction group. The Popular group was updated to include the top 10 used reports. The Net Worth and Tax reports were moved into their own groups. NEW We've revised the organization of the reports. NEW Reports now pop-up in their own window and if you make any changes you are asked to save those changes. NEW 5.17 introduces a new report center integrated into the main Quicken window where you can search, open, and interact with your reports. This is an exciting release with major enhancements to reports, bill pay, scheduled transactions, budgets and accounts. FIXED Fixed loan issues with the next loan payment date. FIXED Restored the account groups in the register account filter. FIXED Fixed an issue where selecting a payee QuickFill in bill pay screens didn't automatically auto-fill categories and other fields. FIXED Fixed an issue where new transactions didn't automatically go into Edit mode. REMOVED Removed the ability to hide hidden, separate, and closed accounts on the account sidebar because these settings wouldn't be preserved on mobile or web. FIXED Fixed the sort order for hidden accounts. FIXED Fixed a performance issue in investment accounts when using Mark all downloaded transactions as reviewed. The standard report will revert back to the default settings after being closed. NEW Standard reports with saved customizations will ask customers to save a custom report if they want to preserve their changes. We're working on fixing the issue and will let you know when it's ready to be tested again in an upcoming beta release. We're seeing some strange behavior and are still investigating.
